BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE.
The Mission
The Saskatoon Zoo Foundation raises funds for capital projects and improvements to the Saskatoon Zoo. Your contribution will help us connect citizens to nature while promoting education, conservation and research as we build for the future.
Behind the scenes, are a team of people who work hard to turn funding into memorable experiences that the whole family can enjoy.

The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park And Zoo Site Celebrated Its 100 year anniversary in 2013
The Zoo Foundation office is located in the forestry farm house, formerly the superintendent’s residence, which has been designated a national historic site.
The Forestry Farm, in its 55 years as a working nursery station, shipped out 147 million trees for shelterbelts and reforestation in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitboa
The zoo foundation was established in 1996. We operate with a staff of two, who work with a volunteer board to raise funds and bring awareness to the SFFP and zoo.
We are partnered with the city of saskatoon and work closely with the zoo manager, who identifies the projects and improvements for the zoo.
We raise funds through two major events: Zoogala, and the Enchanted Forest Light Display. Both events have been running for over 20 years.
To date the foundation has raised close to $9 million dollars for projects and improvements in the zoo and park.
