Hello Zoo Friends,
Now that the spooky season is ending, my mind is already onto the excitement of the snowy season. Once again, the holiday season will be different this year for obvious reasons (darn you Covid!), but I still can’t wait for all the things we can do.
There will be one thing that stays the same, and will bring joy to my family and so many others: the 22nd BHP Enchanted Forest.
They are currently setting up now, and tickets will go on sale soon. The theme this year is Christmas Staycation, and I love it! I also love a Staycation! We will be having Christmas in Saskatoon this year, and I can’t wait to complete our holiday traditions with a trip to the Holiday Light Tour.
The BHP Enchanted Forest is completely safe because you can see the beautiful lights from the comfort (and warmth) of your own vehicle. We can’t wait to see the Saskatoon Forestry Farm light up with the beautiful displays. This year they have included a new tunnel of lights tribute to honour essential service providers. I can’t wait to see it.
BHP Enchanted Forest will be open from November 20th until January 9th. You can visit nightly from 5:30 until 10. It’s the perfect outing for the family, and a wonderful event. I can’t wait for my son to see all the lights.
As always, donations continue to make the zoo an even better place. Every little bit helps to promote education, conservation, and research.
