Happy New Year. We’ve survived the first week of 2020 and are surviving the current cold and snow fall.
I’m looking into the future, and am so excited about all the things to come with the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation. But first, I want to take a moment to reflect on the past year. Being able to blog for the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation in 2019 has been a blast, and I’ve loved learning about new things that we can find and do at the Saskatoon Zoo. I’m very grateful for the experience.
The last fundraiser was a wonderful experience. It wasn’t my first time driving through the BHP Enchanted Forest, but it was my first time walking through it, and it was such a great night. The lights are wonderful, and there is always something new to see. It’s the perfect activity for families, and the best part about it is that it continues into the new year.
It wouldn’t be possible to continue it every year without all the people that attend. The Saskatoon Zoo Foundation would like to thank everybody who made the 21st BHP Enchanted Forest a success. It means a lot to see how many people enjoy it. Personally, I love seeing people post about how much they’ve loved it.
Looking forward to the New Year, I just saw that the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation has announced the next Zoogala is going to be on June 12th. I’m sure I’ll have a lot of exciting things to share in the months to come.
