I know the saying is In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb, but let’s be honest, March is not leaving us peacefully! I do like the animal-themed month for a post about the amazing animals at the zoo! We’ve had a good month, other than this last week, but I’m sure the good Spring weather will be back in no time.
You also have until the end of March to purchase your season passes for the zoo! If you purchase in the next few days (before April) you’ll be entered to win your season pass!
One of the best things about Spring is that Mistaya and Koda start to wake up! That’s right! The bears are waking up. They will be ready for visits in no time! We had so much fun watching the bears play last summer! They’re definitely one of our favourite parts!
I know this weather is a downer. As I write this, I can hear the wind (roaring like a lion), but we’re from Saskatchewan! We know it won’t last. Soon enough, we’ll be enjoying the beautiful weather once again!
We have so much to look forward to this Spring and Summer, and the zoo is one of the best. It’s such a great place to meet up with friends safely and be socially distant at the same time. There’s nothing better than walking the trails, and seeing how happy my son is just because he’s at the zoo.
The lamb has spoken loudly. It’s time to say goodbye to March.
