Thankful And Grateful Today And Everyday - Quote. Thanksgiving D

Hello Zoo Friends,

I hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It’s not been the easiest year, and to me, that’s the most important time to remind myself what I’m thankful for. I’m thankful for my son, my partner, my family, and my friends. I’m also grateful I live in this beautiful city.

I’m also thankful that the Saskatoon Zoo is currently working on building a new Prairie Dog Exhibit! That was one of our favourite places to stop, and my kiddo could probably watch the heads pop up and down for most of the day. That’s saying a lot because my son never stops moving.

I spoke about the chance to name the Mouflon Sheep last time, and I have great news! It’s now extended so if you haven’t put in a bid, you still can.

You can bid to get the naming rights! The highest bid will be donated to the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation. Make sure to check out the website and social media pages for more specific information. I love the name options: 1)  Lambert and Ernie 2) Meryl Sheep and Woolliam Shakeshear 3) Britney Shears and Justin Timberlamb 4) Your choice! The highest bidder can choose their own custom names.

If you want to bid, make sure you email your bid to admin@saskatoonzoofoundation.ca. You can follow the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation Facebook and Instagram pages for more information.

As the days get chilly, I’m getting excited for this year’s BHP Enchanted Forest! It’s a great and fun fundraiser for the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation. It will be wonderful to be able to keep the tradition going with the family, and to go see the beautiful lights. Every year, I leave feeling so impressed with it all, and of course, I LOVE my son’s reactions to seeing everything. “Mom! Mommy! Did you see that??
