Blog: Winter to Spring

GROUNDHOG_DAY_THUMBNAIL6_FF

Hello Zoo Friends,

The groundhogs don’t seem to agree about when Spring is going to come, but we know that eventually, this winter will melt away. In the meantime, if you’re looking for something to work you through the wintertime blues, the Saskatoon Zoo is always available for you and your family.

No matter what age you are, the zoo is a fun experience. It’s a place for kids and adults to laugh, play, explore, and spend time outside.

The zoo has things planned out well to keep you feeling safe. They have a one-way path set up around the zoo exhibits, and you can walk around it as many times as you want (especially if you’re trying to take up some energy). The playground is open for the kids to play on. The Meerkat House is open – just make sure to wear your masks! And my favourite – the monkey exhibit is open again for outside viewing. And of course, washrooms are available by the Buckeye Cafe.

In a world that doesn’t feel very normal right now, the zoo is always there with comfort and consistency.

Soon enough, Spring will actually be here, and we can enjoy warmer days at the zoo. For now, enjoy the white fluffy snow, and enjoy the warm feeling you get with your family at the zoo.

As‌ ‌always,‌ ‌donations‌ ‌continue‌ ‌to‌ ‌make‌ ‌the‌ ‌zoo‌ an even better ‌place.‌ ‌‌Every‌ ‌little‌ ‌bit‌ ‌helps‌ ‌to‌ ‌promote‌ ‌education,‌ ‌conservation,‌ ‌and‌ ‌research.‌ ‌

It’s‌ ‌YOUR‌ ‌zoo!‌ ‌See you there!

Thanks‌ ‌for‌ ‌reading.‌ ‌
